Youth in the Community Celebrate Graduation

Sixty-four OYA youth earned their high school diplomas or GEDs in the community this spring.

Congratulations to all of the OYA youth in the community who graduated as part of the Class of 2021. A total of 64 OYA youth graduated in the community: 51 with high school diplomas and 13 with GEDs.

Thanks to everyone who provided them with the guidance and support they needed along the way, including their families, juvenile parole and probation officers, residential providers, OYA foster parents, and OYA facility staff.

The breakdown of graduates per region:

Central Region (Crook, Deschutes, Gilliam, Hood River, Jefferson, Sherman, Wasco, Wheeler counties): 6 high school diplomas, 2 GEDs

Clackamas County: 2 high school diplomas

Coos, Curry, and Douglas counties: 2 high school diplomas

Eastern Region: 3 high school diplomas

Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, and Lake counties: 9 high school diplomas, 3 GEDs

Lane County: 1 high school diploma

Linn, Benton, Lincoln, and Yamhill counties: 11 high school diplomas, 2 GEDs

Marion and Polk Counties: 7 high school diplomas, 5 GEDs

Multnomah County: 1 high school diploma

Washington, Columbia, Clatsop, and Tillamook counties: 9 high school diplomas, 1 GED
